Mary Jane Nelson, 68, of Leavenworth Kansas passed away on Friday, March 4, 2016 at her residence.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. at Our Place, 313 Delaware St.
Mary was born on March 17, 1947 in Grayling, Michigan to George and Gertrude Mae (Johnson) Galbraith.
She graduated from Gaylord Community School in 1965.
She married Lee J. Nelson on July 23, 1973 in Gaylord Michigan.
She enjoyed garage sales and would help anyone she met if she could. She enjoyed her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Lee, son, Larry (Debbie) Renard of Montegut, Louisiana, daughter Lisa Bert of New Philadelphia, Ohio, brother Gary (Jean) Galbraith of Pinellas County, Florida, step-brother Kim Galbraith, three step-sisters Shelly, Kelly and Jill, seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
